Eva-Maria Barbosa is a corporate insurance lawyer based in the Munich office.
She has broad experience in insurance regulatory and corporate insurance matters. She has been a leader on many insurance related M&A and restructuring projects, including exit strategies for discontinued business, run-off and cross-border outsourcing service agreements as well as mergers and cooperation agreements.
Eva is the winner of the International Law Office’s (ILO) 2012 Client Choice Award in the insurance/reinsurance (Germany) category.
Eva studied law in Freiburg and Düsseldorf and qualified as a lawyer in 1999. Before joining us in 2006, she was a corporate counsel for a German financial services group. She is fluent in English and French.
