Davide Nervegna is a securities regulation lawyer based in our Milan office. He specialises in advising on financial market regulations, asset management and investment and financial services. In the area of asset management, he has extensive experience of advising on investment funds (including real estate funds, ETFs and UCITS) and SICAVs. Davide’s practice also covers advising in relation to MiFID rules of conduct and organizational requirements, market abuse, anti-money laundering, companies’ administrative liability, market transparency and integrity, IPOs, private placements and tender offers, authorization of financial institutions, cross border activities, clearing and settlement and securities lending.

Prior to joining us in 2012, Davide was the Head of Legal and Regulation at the Italian Broker Dealer Association (Associazione Italiana Intermediari Mobiliari - ASSOSIM) where he worked for numerous Italian and international investment banks, asset management companies and global financial groups. Prior still (1998 - 2006), Davide was a Senior Associate at a leading Italian and international law firms in Milan.

Davide is a graduate of Università degli Studi di Milano (Juris Doctor, 1997). He was admitted to the Milan Bar in 2001. Davide also completed a summer programme in US law sponsored by Columbia Law School and Amsterdam Law University (July-August 2003).

Davide is a native Italian speaker. He is fluent in English and has a working knowledge of French.
