Cecilia Buresti is a litigation and dispute resolution lawyer based in Milan. She is the head of the Italian litigation and dispute resolution team.
Cecilia joined us from a leading international legal practice in 2000, the year the Group opened its first Italian office. She specialises in disputes relating to financial services and products, insurance and reinsurance and real estate.
Cecilia read law at the University of Bologna and qualified as an Italian avvocato in 1992. She is admitted to appear before Italy’s highest court, the Corte di Cassazione. She also studied international and comparative law at the University of Dallas Southwestern Legal Foundation in the United States.
A native Italian speaker, Cecilia is also fluent in English.
