Adam Lovett
Director
Adam Lovett (English solicitor) is a Director with the practice. Adam has extensive experience providing general banking, capital markets, corporate, commercial and regulatory advice to private equity investors, multinational corporations, banks and financial institutions investing in, raising finance, establishing or restructuring their businesses in East Africa.
He also has considerable knowledge of the telecommunications and high tech industries, advising on mergers and acquisitions, outsourcing, regulatory and licensing issues, network rollouts and interconnection.
Before joining our Africa practice, Adam worked for another global law firm in their London and Dubai offices and has also spent several years working in-house for telecommunication operators in both the UK and the UAE.
Adam is ranked by the Chambers Global 2011 Guide to the World’s Leading Lawyers in the category of general business law which describes market observers as stating “His knowledge, understanding of our business and legal interpretations have been exemplary.”
Adam obtained a Masters in Law (LLM) from the University of Cambridge in 1997, having previously obtained an LLB (hons) from University College London in 1996.
